Most "family" plans are adult plans with children waiting, or the other way round. Not this one. Our family escape room in Barcelona splits the puzzles by age on purpose: some things can only be seen from four feet off the ground, and some can only be worked out with a few more years behind you.
The story
The great mage Zaregord has vanished and nobody knows how to look for him. You have one hour. On the other side there is a mage feeding you clues whenever the team stalls, so the game never breaks down.
Why it works for families
Nobody just watches. Puzzles of observation, logic and dexterity, spread so everyone gets their moment.
No scares and no darkness. It is a magical place, not a haunted house.
No screens. Real wands, potions, keys and books.
A single mission. From age 5 to 99, all of you are needed to rescue Zaregord.

Children under 5 play free. A €30 deposit is paid when booking; the rest is paid in cash at the venue on the day.

Frequently asked questions
What age can a family play from?
From five. With children aged 5 to 9 the team needs at least 2 adults and at least one adult per child of that age. From 14 they count as adults.
Won't the adults be bored by a children's game?
The difficulty is medium and the puzzles are spread out: some reward observation, which the younger ones usually crack, and some reward logic, which tends to fall to the grown-ups. The point is that nobody gets out alone.
How much is it for a family of four?
From €20 per person. The price table gives the exact total for four; €30 of that is a deposit you pay when you book, and the balance is settled in cash at the venue on the day.
Can we come with a pushchair or a wheelchair?
Yes. At Magic Escape Room the only obstacle is working out where mage Zaregord went.
Can we bring the dog?
Yes. While you play, your pet stays with our mage. Tell us in the booking comments which animal is coming and whether it needs any special care.
How long does the whole visit take?
The game itself is 60 minutes. Add a few minutes beforehand for the briefing and a few more at the end for the debrief, the small gift and the team photo.
